ABT 2012 Audi A6 Avant Specs and Review


Audi has released ABT 2012 Audi A6 Avant Soon after unveiling their upgrade program for that Q3, the specialists from ABT Sportsline are now introducing a brand new kit which this time around targets the 2012 Audi A6 Avant.
Known as the AS6 Avant, the kit contains a number of modified exterior components like a new front spoiler, new sidebars, a custom rear spoiler along with a rear apron that integrates the 4 exhaust pipes. The ABT 2012 Audi A6 Avant sits on lightweight wheels obtainable in sizes 19, 20 or 21 inch coupled with high-speed tires.


Mechanically, the tuners from ABT have upgraded both versions from the 3.0-litre TDI model, and as a result the 245 HP (180 kW) variant produces 300 HP (221 kW) as the weaker version delivers 240 HP (177 kW) instead of 204 HP (180 kW).
The petrol version 2012 Audi A6 Avant 2.0 TFSI was also boosted from 300 HP (221 kW) to no less than 420 HP (309 kW), and for that reason the 0 to 100 Km/h sprint time has been improved to 5.0 seconds flat.

Tesla does it differently; the EV maker prefers to rely on over-the-air (OTA) updates and simply change mechanical parts as they are developed.
