2012 Kia Picanto 3-door Review


Kia has released Kia Picanto 3-door, model appeared in 2004. The distinctively styled Kia Picanto 3-door, with a new selection of trim levels, goes on sale in the UK from 1st September 2011.
The Kia Picanto 3-door includes a unique, sporty character while still managing to deliver exactly the same, seemingly contradictory, upgrades as the more family-focused five-door: stronger performance with lower fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, the safety and luxury features of a sizable car with no outrageous cost, and practicality inside a compact package. When the five-door Picanto is ‘the small car, grown up’, then your 3-door is identical however with a twinkle in its eye.


 
Globally, the market for Picanto-sized cars in 2014 will be around 2.4 million. By 2015 – well within the second-generation Picanto’s life cycle – which will have become to 3.3 million. Tesla does it differently; the EV maker prefers to rely on over-the-air (OTA) updates and simply change mechanical parts as they are developed. Because of this unusual method, the nearly six-year-old Model 3 has never received a facelift. But now, according to a report from Reuters, a refreshed Model 3 code-named "Highland" is on the way and is expected to be put into production in the third quarter of next year. The revamped Tesla is part of an attempt by the company to simplify its design and drive production costs down.
